Drop in a stripboard PDF, set your constraints, and get a zero-downtime shooting schedule with per-day call sheets. Built for contained-studio shoots where the strip order is everything.
Every day follows the default start above unless you switch it to Custom. Days left on Default track the field automatically — change the default and they move with it. Use Custom when one day needs a shifted call (e.g. more night work).
The stripboard only lists speaking cast. Add any background or non-speaking actors who are physically in each scene — they affect call times and scheduling. Tap a name to remove it; use the box to add anyone new. New names propagate to availability automatically.
Most scenes stay in the contained studio, so moves between them are free. Tap any location that requires a company move off-lot — the optimizer will group its scenes together to avoid ping-ponging. EXT locations are pre-flagged; untap if they're actually a studio setup.
For each actor, per day, choose All day (available, no constraint), Hard in/out (available only within a window — set the times), or Not available (won't be scheduled that day). Any scene is placed only on a day where every one of its cast members is available; if that's impossible, you'll get a conflict warning up top.
Everyone reports to the primary location by default. Add other locations here (e.g. a park, a second unit base) — then assign any cast or crew member to one in their row below or in Wardrobe.
Set the calendar date and crew for each shoot day. Weather & sunrise/sunset are pulled per day from the date above + the production zipcode.
List what each actor should bring / wear on the day(s) they work. Only the days an actor is scheduled show a field once you've generated the schedule (before that, every day is shown). Wardrobe prints on the relevant day's call sheet.
